Actually I think I know why. It's because I have TOO MANY DOLLS!!!
I've been having a lot of trouble coming up with a name for my new Yuz.
She's quirky, mischievous and traditional all in one so I wanted a name which suited that.
There was a name that I thought would suit my If but decided against using it because it might also have suited Yuz.

How about Arrietty? She was quirky, mischevious & adventurous. Oh and you sound like Tonto about the heat. Blah blah blah...come HERE for awhile...you can lay outside in the snow. After a bit of the cold weather and heavy overcast I guarantee you won't mind sun and heat anymore!!

Arrietty is a very pretty name. Have you seen the movie yet? It's on my list.

Nah. I don't do heat. Will happily swap with you :-)

LOL, I read this response first in my emails so it was 'seen WHAT?' heh... Yes, I saw the movie, it hasn't been officially released yet but fansubbed here. I'm a bit disapointed because the girl in the movie is nothing much like the one in the books, which were my favorite back in the '60s when I was in school. In the books Arrietty (and the other borrowers) were dressed in victorian 1890-1910 fashions because that was when it took place. I can see why Miyazaki moved it up to the present time but part of Arietty's charm was that she was an adventurous tomboy back in the victorian times when a lady should be prim and proper! ^_^
