Athos: "Don't worry, He's made this shot a hundred times."
D'Artagnan: "He's drunk."
Athos: "He's never made it sober."
Porthos: "How about we try a blindfold?"
Aramis: *you kinky fuck*
Athos: "You didn't kill him!" (it's not even a question, he's more certain than Porthos is himself that he didn't do it. ♥)
Old lady: "How old are you?"
Porthos: "No idea. I don't know when I was born. This is just the day I picked when I was a kid. One day's as good as another to celebrate."
*heart breaks into little soggy pieces*
Treville: "Delay them."
Athos: *turns and dashes after them before Aramis and D'Artagnan have even processed the instruction* ♥
Porthos assuming it's Athos rescuing him? *life made* *ship sails*
Aramis: "I know where they're heading."
Athos: *no shit Sherlock*
King Louis: "What do you think Cardinal? About this whole - melon-choly business?"
Richelieu: *Jesus fuck save me from this tool*
Athos: "Porthos was an orphan. He was born and raised here."
D'Artagnan: "Amongst thieves? He never said a word."
Aramis: "Little touchy about it."
Athos (giving money to a beggar): "Buy an instrument. You have the hands of a musician." And I thought I couldn't love him more than I already did. ♥ ♥ ♥
Athos: "I'm going in to find him."
Me: *asdmaldfakjgdfhalkj*
D'Artagnan: "Look, Porthos was drunk. I'm sure it was an accident but - what if he's guilty?"
(I like to see this not so much as D'Artagnan's willingness to believe in Porthos' guilt, but in his own *un*willingness to believe a justice system he'd been brought up to believe in - that he's trying to become a part of in a sense - could fuck up so badly and unjustly).
Aramis: "This is Porthos!" (has there been an episode where he hasn't grabbed someone by their shirt yet? Not a complaint...)
Old lady: "Is it raining musketeers outside?" God if only.
I do like the fact that 99% of all investigation in this series happens in taverns. It's the drunkest series ever.
sneaky!Athos is sneaky...
"We should get you out of those clothes. Someone might mistake you for a gentleman, and slit your throat."
I liked Flea, I was glad (and pleasantly surprised) that she survived. She felt like she'd stepped right out of London Below (well, Paris Below, I suppose. Hmmn, the Marquis would fit in very well in the Court...shit, now I want fic where the Musketeers have to deal with Croup and Vandemar...).
*tries very hard not to make a 'dirty habit' joke*
So last episode Athos was pointing out to Marsac the folly of insulting the man who held his life in his hands - and this episode he's insulting the people holding a gun and a knife on him. Have I mentioned recently how much I love Athos and his deathwish?
Athos: "Dead." (Break it to him gently why don't you!)
*shifty manservant klaxon*
D'Artagnan: "You could always try knocking?"
Or, in fact, trying the doorhandle at all. Still. Nice for Aramis to get his weapon out. (I love the fact that D'Artagnan ducks away and Athos doesn't so much as flinch).
Musketeers' Paris: in which leaving by the door is so last century.
D'Artagnan in his rightful place: on his knees in front of Athos...
Pastor: "I have God on my side."
D'Artagnan: "I do hope he's good with a sword."
Hello boys...
Athos: "I'll ask you again." *distant twang of knicker elastic*
♥ that Athos pauses to both put out the burning brand and check on Flea.
Porthos: "You took your damn time getting here."
Athos: "We would never let you hang."
Aramis: "Of course not. And if we had the funeral would have been - beautiful."
Athos: "We came looking. Charon said you were having such a good time you didn't want to see us."
Porthos: "Be honest. Did any of you think I did it?"
*everyone stares at D'Artagnan.*
Aramis: "Did you ever think we'd abandoned you?"
Porthos: "Never."
Me: *dead*
