I love love the way you have the two of them interacting. The banter is perfect. Loved this bit especially:
"Sherlock would accuse him of being a typically dull copper and Lestrade would argue hotly that being an insane genius was all very well but that kind of thing didn't tend to amuse the CPS. They were frequently at loggerheads, and evenings all too often descended into shouting matches.
"They both enjoyed it far too much."
And "Get off then you big asexual poof." Hee.

This is my favourite. New favourite. Whatever. Gah.
Okay, serious now: I loved the way Sherlock knows it's Lestrade because of the way he closes his car door. I turned to goo when Sherlock played his violin to send Lestrade to sleep. And then the whole of the last scene was just perfect - especially the You really do think you could make me like it line and their responses to that. It's wonderful. Can't wait for the next part *g*
