Just another tequila sunrise
Yo! I figured I'd post quick, before they delete my account or sell it off to someone who desperately wants to be called Suzi_q (understandable). Working part time rules! I'm cool on wednesdays as I've just worked Mon/ tue and think 'wonderful a day off already!', but Thursdays are a little odd. I keep having momentary panics that I've forgotten to go to work or something. Then on Fridays I think it's Monday all day as I've just had two days off...and then it's the weekend and there we go again. It's ace, I tell you.
Only problem is I'll never want to go back full time now. Now I've discovered that you can get all the cool stuff you get from work (ie. paid, sense of achievement, time away from constantly stopping Zoe falling over/into stuff) but still get four days a week off, why would I want it any other way?
So there you go. Had a great day yesterday, meeting Sannah and Matty C in town for dinner then going out for tea later too. We went to La Civetta in Hillsborough, and had lovely food. We took Zoe and she was brilliant, just sat in her highchair reading books and trying to stack beakers inside each other.
On Saturday I am off to Meadowhell to buy fancy make-up for my birthday! I have been drooling over the 'Benefit' catalogue, and have a right wishlist of incredible stuff to buy...stuff to make me shiney, stuff to make me matt. (That's matt, not Matt. That would be weird, and make-up isn't quite that advanced yet), stuff to make me flawless like a supermodel. haha, and stuff to make me immortal.
I may have misread that last bit. We'll see.
