Beach weekend with mom. I've done my daughterly duty. I've learned 2 days is more than enough if I'm not dating. Because more than that, and she likes to bring up everyone I've ever been serious about and wonder aloud what they're doing now.
It rained and I read and watched movies all weekend. Watched the Notebook, as mom had not seen it.
So had the meeting with fishin guy's soon to be wife and mother in law. She's nice, VERY YOUNG but nice. Cute, but not so cute that you'd want to really hate her. They have been dating 9 WEEKS and engaged for 2. Can you imagine? She's met his girls once. The rest of the office is taking bets on whether it will actually happen or not. She's been engaged twice before. (what is he thinkin?0 At least he wasn't cheating on her or anything while we were talking. Allows me to continue to trust my own judgement for the most part. He has not mentioned that he knows me at all. He'll probably just stay out of the way during all the planning. We'll see.
Been out walking almost every evening last week. Starting to feel better, which is nice. Need to keep it up and get back to increasing hills and time. Bathing suit season is so close and I'm so not ready!
