Rating: R
Pairing: Kyle/Oliver, college years
Summary: Oliver Fish met Kyle Lewis in college. It changed his life forever.

May I just say how much I'm enjoying your story? I stumbled upon it a little while ago and have been awaiting your updates ever since. I absolutely love these characters on the show (and have decided that Kyle/Oliver and Layla/Cris are my foursome of sheer awesomeness) and when I saw over at TWoP that you were writing Kish the college years (a subject I know many of us are very interested in), I did a search. The rest is history.
I like the struggle you've got going here, between the guys and internally. Obviously they want to be together but there are all these other factors playing havoc. The angst is incredible and as supportive as Kyle is there's also an element of frustration that I think you've captured nicely on his part. It's all very human. Much of the same can be said for Oliver who is being crushed beneath the weight of his upbringing and the expectations that come with that versus what he's feeling. I like how you've conveyed his absolute confusion.
Besides the utter hotness of this chapter the way you ended it was note perfect -- the breakfast is right, Oliver is a mess and Kyle is ticked off.
Anyway I just wanted to say I think you're doing a good job and keep it up! I need another update asap :-)

Thanks so much for the insightful comment. I'm glad that Oliver's internal struggle's coming through in the writing, as is Kyle's frustration. I really truly love angsty, snarky Kyle. Honestly, I think I love writing the emotional conflict between them, even more than the fluffy bits!
So glad you're enjoying this. Thanks again!
And P.S. I adore TWOP, lurking and now that I've come out of the woodwork on the OLTL thread, posting. The posters over there are so darn insightful!
