Plans for leaving Maryland and maybe going to Florida...
Nearing the end of the summer here camp has 4th session and 9th inning in the works, I was lucky enough to play with Warner and Billy Rock again last night at Carribou Coffee and, I have plans to return to my still new apartment that I have been paying to live in all summer while I'm camping up here. Let me tell you how it is:
Well this past week has been blazing hot in MD at 101 degrees F. Luckily, it was on pool days so my pre-k campers were all lucky enough to get out and enjoy the heat.
Also, It is kind of wierd that it is August now because it still feels like I just got here, like, maybe, a week ago.
I found out one of my kids dad plays for the Baltimore Ravens which is kind of neat. She tried to invite me to come see her daddy play football but I didn't really think about it until her mom told me later. Maybe I'll take them up on it if they ask me again, I dunno.
So yea, the bulk of my belongings are in Clearwater where my apartment is. No big deal there, I have everything I need for camp here.
I do, however, keep forgetting that I gave permission to John and Kevin to use my room as the guest room all summer, which wouldn't be a big deal at all to me except that IT IS A BIG DEAL because they didn't tell me they were letting their friends stay there until they SOBER UP. All I'm say'n is If someone vomits in my room, and I find it... it will be a sad, sad day. Other than that I'm fine because I bought all new bedding for the their guests to sleep on.
But yea, I'll be returning for a few months after camp to finish everything I started in FL and make plans to move up here next. YOu never know where I'll turn up next, I suppose. I've been keeping a close eye on Galloo Island and it has not been sold as of yet. Maybe I'll be able to move there some day and open up my Bed and Breakfast after all. If I ever do that, I swear I'm stealing Shayne and taking him with me!
