"I'm so cold, my nipples hurt"
Yes folks that is right. My nipples hurt because it is so damn cold in this building. Katie is laughing her head off as I write this.
Well, this weekend was quite uneventful besides Saturday. Saturday was the last marching competition of the year and the kids took 1st for music, 1st for percussion, 2nd for visual, and got an overall rating of superior. We were very proud of them and they were really pumped as well, until they found out they missed 2nd place by .1. That kind of sucked, but most of them are starting to realize that their 1st in music and a superior rating are far more of an achievement than a 2nd place in their class.
At the competition I had the biggest ugliest bug I have ever seen in my life land on my leg. This was the same bug that Katie and I had seen earlier in the week and I tried hitting the window to make it go away. I'm convinced it followed me to the competition to get even with me. This thing was not only huge, but it had a snout, hairy legs, long antenna, a ridge on its back that looks like a dinosaur, and a cup shell that its wings rest in when it is not flying around. Basically it was a mutated spider that can fly. It was as nasty as it sounds. But I got the last work with that ugly thing. I screamed, Scott knocked it off of my leg and his Sousaphone player killed it. HA! Take that ugly thing!
That is about it. I finished my paper that is due tomorrow even though it is a piece of crap, but at least I have time to edit, and tomorrow I am going to hopefully get my NC drivers license. I don't know though, I may be too good of a driver to get a NC license. Then it is back to research abstract fun! Woo.
