Relay for Life Part III
Midnight - Nine AM
So, woke up at twoish and the boy’s were spitting sunflower seeds. I went back to sleep. I woke up again around four and sent Shaun a message, and we talked for a minute. I fell asleep and woke up at 5:07. Shaun was offline, so I went back to sleep. One of the times I got up, I’m thinking around four, I got up to pee with Theresa. I didn’t wanna go pee out there by myself!
Then, at like 7:00, I talked to Geoff and Megan’s Dad and Chris Siever’s Dad. Then I had pancakes with Rob and Andris. I walked a lap with Rob and the guy who works at the Storm Stadium. I drank my first energy drink, a rip tide..or a rip curl. Or something. Then we passed a sign that said, “Free Candy, take 1 or 20.” I was stuffing them in my bag, because they were almond joys, and my mom loves them and their were like 200.
Storm Stadium guy: It says One or two.
Rob: One or twenty
Storm Stadium Guy: That’s a period, one or two.
Me: One or twenty!
The night before Fire Chief Whisenand was the acting fire chief. He must be Joey’s dad. I decided that I would go try and remeet Joey at the fireman’s barbecue. For those of you who don’t know, Joey was the first boy I ever had a crush on, in second grade. He was in first at the time, we had a split class.
So, I had another pancake and then I helped take down the tent and went home.
