You might need time to think it over

"Ya- -Yabu, you know I'm not good with relationships like that right? It'll just ruin our friendship." A shocked Hikaru Yaotome struggled to find a way out of this dilemma that his best friend has just laid out in front of him. Hikaru was thinking what to choose. Yabu as his best friend, hiding his emotions forever or Yabu as his lover, that in the end might actually end up in a fight that may ruin their friendship. Hikaru was never good with relationships. He could go for a week without talking to anyone, he hates it when someone bothered him in his private time, he doesn't like telling everything to someone that's why romantic relationship never worked out for him, he's still too selfish to share his self to anyone.
"How can you be so sure Hikaru? We haven't even tried it yet, you feel the same right? I'll give you time to think." and with that Yabu Kota left Hikaru's house and the owner of the house was left rooted on his place without moving an inch.
Yes, Hikaru loves Yabu, but could the relationship really work out? Does Yabu know him enough, is he considerate enough, could he actually accept Hikaru even at his worst?What do they need to actually make the relationship work? Hikaru was wracking his brain for answers when he remembered something.
Hikaru went to his room and opened a scrapbook that he and Yabu made when they were 17 years old. On the last page of the scrapbook, which is also called 'Yabu's page' Yabu wrote something.
'Love is the strongest energy in this whole wide world and it can make anything work out!'
Hikaru smiled at the quote and rushed out of his house and went to Yabu's which is actually just across the street. Mrs. Yabu let him in and he made his way to Yabu's room. He opened the room and saw a stunning scene where Yabu was looking serenely on the moon through his window.Hikaru took a step closer to Yabu and whispered quietly.
"Kou-chan..just don't ever let me go, okay?" He smiled at Yabu and Yabu's eyes widened when he realized what Hikaru was talking about.
"Of course I won't." Yabu answered as he smiled.
