(no subject)
So, I missed Glee tonight. Fell asleep at like six thirty for no reason and didn't wake up til eight forty-five. According to my sister (and twitter) this was a good thing. I'm not going to say I'm surprised.
Another thing I am not surprised about? How much I am going to LOVE New Girl. I mean, I could tell by the commercials I was going to like it. I watched it tonight, and this just might be this year's show for me. Yeah, it's a little cheesy and unrealistic, but that's part of the charm. Also, Jess has her own theme song, marches to her own drum and doesn't let people's reactions to her get her down. So, I suppose it's also kind of geektastic girl Mary Suing a bit. Which, for once, I think is not so much Suing as just Jess being Jess and a show openly admitting that sometimes that's just the way life works. Like it or not.
