Day 4 : Damai beach, "World Cup"
Hmmm... where shall we go?
The last 2 days of stay at the Bidayuh Longhouse had been fun and comfortable (not luxurious, of course). Though not exactly what I had expected of a tribe (expected much more simple). Next time, will let the kids try a more "rustic" one. Ha...
Anyway, we went to Damai Beach for a couple of days for rest-and-relax at a resort, before the young ones go back to the basics. And the kids were just so happy the moment they stepped into the room. It was a pity though, that the beach is quite a walk from the resort. We couldn't get the beach front resorts and had to settle for this, Santubong Resort.
Much comfy room as compared to the longhouse.
Life goes on... ... you betcha, girl. No matter how tough life is, it still goes on.

Guess who.
Though for the kids ALL beaches are good, I personally do find it good too. Sand is fine and there are quite a number of creatures. Lots of crabs, hermit crabs, small purplish snails and tubeworms. Interesting.
On this day (11 June 2010), "World Cup" officially started!
The "battle field".
The boys were loving it, though there were times of frustration and despair.
They were still hoping to play again the next day.
