Can you spot what we found in Bukit Timah hill this time round? It's a juvenile Spiny Hill Terrapin! It look so much like a durian, very cute. According to the park ranger, who had heard about it for years but never had the luck to see it, it is a native in the hill. After looking at
Wildlife Singapore's writeup on it, then I realize that the "old friend" that we had been seeing @ Bukit Timah hill is actually also a Spiny Hill Terrapin (adult)! All this while, I thought it's a turtle. The adult and juvenile look SO different. 真的是"女"大十八变!
The shell. Underside of the shell.
Another satisfying trip ended with a pose at their favourite photo spot.
