Happy Birthday to ME!!!
Once again, it's my big day! And once again, it's my annual flu "season" too!
Anyway, this year's birthday was rather nice. The Boy had been reminding me that my birthday is coming since a week ago. However, when the Boy was reminding me, the Girl was in school so she didn't know. So, on the night before my birthday, during dinnertime, the Boy excitedly commented that the next day will be my birthday.
The Girl, upon realizing that, said, "Huh?! Tomorrow? But I didn't buy any present yet. Anyway, I can't buy any present for mama without her knowing, because she has to bring me to the shop. I know what, I'll make her a card!"
It was rather interesting to see how the two kids processed the information. One had the information for days and did nothing about it. One received the information at the last hour and quickly sprung into action. Anyway, after dinner, I was banished into the bedroom and not allowed to see the "surprise present" in the making.

Ha... apparently the Birthday cards look more like Get Well cards. Well, it's the thoughts that count. =)
