Pizza time!
Ever since the Boy is back from his school camp (read about it here & here), he had been most proud about his ability to handle knife independently and to cook. He had helped me prepared dinner (cutting the veg, washing the rice, cracking & frying the eggs) too. Though he had done these at home before, this time round I felt more confident with him and left him to it without looking over his shoulders.
And he had been asking to make pizza toast for us too. Today's lunch was it!
Went marketing to purchase the ingredients he needed. Washed and cut the ingredients independently. Prepared the bread with his sister, who ain't entirely interested, just come-and-go as she liked. Toasted the bread and cleaned up the kitchen... ... by his father!!
Well, what fun is there handling the hot oven and cleaning up the mess right? Lucky him, he did it with Mr Tok. Else, I'd had given him a lecture and gotten him back to clean up. =op
Anyway, it was delicious. (How bad can this be right?) And he was in cloud's nine seeing us enjoying his "cooking". Sans the Girl, who is not a pizza person.
