(no subject)
I purchased a new slow cooker today. I have hopes will will do a better job then the one that ended up in the garbage can when, after 11 hours, it STILL hadn't cooked the potatos or the onions! Luckily my pressure cooker rode to the rescue.
I have new boots with heels! They are very clicky, which I'm not used to, but it's nice to be able to reach the floor in resturants.
The large bowl, upon which I had done a beautiful design of iris's and celtic knots, came out of the kiln on Saturday, and I found that the design had slid *blub, blub, blub* down the side of the pot, and is now undecernable. Oh well =(
On Sunday we helped my parents rip out their front bathroom. That was kinda fun. Especially when Mr. Cal removed a single, solitary screw, that was holding up the mirror, and on the other side of the wall the deck came crashing down.
