Wow, all this shopping catches up to you after a while. Well, when your ankles swell to the point of not even being ankles anymore. Haha. :P But we did end up getting pretty much everything left over that we needed, so far anyway. When I went with my mom, I got all the breastfeeding stuff, the bottle sterilizer, some little blank pants for his Halloween outfit & a bunch more stuff. Eric & I went again yesterday & he bought the baby like a trillion diapers, wipes, creams & sheets. We also got a huge thing of baby-safe detergent, a blue rubber ducky & some pacifiers. :D There's probably even more than that, but I can't remember right now. It's really overwhelming, all the stuff we have, haha.
Eric is really stepping up to the plate. He even bought some nicotine gum, so that he can quit smoking for me & the baby. How awesome is that? I know how hard it is to quit, so I wish him luck with that. I know he can do it, if he puts his mind to it. :D He doesn't smoke around me, or even in the house, for that matter. But this is just taking it a step up & doing something good for himself & the baby. I don't want Eli connecting him with the smell of cigarettes, cause yes, it does stick to your skin, breath & even hair. I should know, I was like a walking ashtray like a year ago. Haha.
