Seems I've gotten a bit behind on updating this thing. So I guess I should tell you all how well my holidays went. :) Christmas was fantastic! I bought Eric a really nice black Takamine acoustic guitar. It's black with white trim & has mother of pearl inlay. It has a tuner built into it & can be plugged into an amp. It sounds beaaauuutiful! {But a lot of that has to do with how great Eric is at playing it.} :D He really loves it. He even keeps it in his hard guitar case at all times. I'm really happy he's enjoying it. He bought me basically EVERYTHING you'd need to make an art studio. I was so floored by it! He bought me a really awesome desk that can lay flat or can be angled, paints, brush sets, a really big mixing tray, canvases & all that good stuff. :D And this awesome lamp that bends & has speakers so you can connect an iPod to it & listen to music while you paint. {Which reminds me, his mom got me the iPod shuffle!} And he got me this really nice like spa bath set, with red silk pajamas & a reeeally soft purple robe. :D {Purple is my fave colour.} We spent a lot on eachother this year, because next year we're going to have to spend a little more wisely. We figured we might as well have one big Christmas before then, haha. :P
In sad news, we found out that my cousin Frankie had died. He was 52. Apparently, he & Marybeth we're visiting relatives in California & he had went for a jog. {He runs every day & does yoga.} Well, someone had told her that there was a man laying in the grass. So she ran outside & saw that it was Frankie & tried to help him. He had a heart attack. :( I found out that he had high blood pressure, but thought that he could treat it himself. {He had an apartment in France, so he drank a lot of wine.} And with all his wine drinking, he thought it would thin his blood out enough, being that a glass of wine a day is said to be good for you. But I guess with wine comes cheese, which the French love, and that just doesn't do any good on your heart. :( So anyone that has or knows someone with high blood pressure, please watch them. We're really shocked this happened & sad for the loss of such a great person. They're going to cremate him & have a little closure get together at my aunt's house soon. So if you're religious please pray for him & his family. And if you're not, please keep him & us all in your thoughts. <3
