It's times like these that I don't believe in Karma
Either that, or J and I are in for a major windfall soon.
I am still sick, and completely unable to talk. Oh, I could make a few semi-audible words if I really had to, but I have been advised not to try. Went back to the doctor yesterday and got another course of antibiotics. Different ones that might work this time.
I also got a gargle, which is awful, and Panadeine, which are wonderful. I like the not-pain effect they have.
I am off to work today, which is ok even if I can't speak, because exams are on and I can write all the instructions up on the board.
I am glad that I have a bunch of money in savings, cause December is going to be a very lean month.
Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket today? Karma owes me.
