ah! this is so cute. i'm not an avid het fic reader but i saw chanyeol + jiyeon and as a serial bias shipper i had to read this.
such a cute relationship despite their communication problems. i especially loved the scene with jaeseop and suzy.
and ah comparing the beginning and end. Chanyeol picking her up from her house in an old car, she rolls up her sleeves, he rolls down the window. she enters the car, he still buckles her seat belt she worries about the future. chanyeol says it'll get better and jiyeon asks "wanna bet?"
and then now he picks her up in a silver porsche, she rolls up her sleeves, he rolls down the window. she enters the car, he still buckles her seat belt because old habits die hard. jiyeon insists that missing someone and love isn't real and chanyeol is the one asking for bets this time. she doesn't take him up on it because she knows chanyeol is right. the same way he was right before; they are both grown up, well, and jiyeon's world didn't end; everything got better.

“Applying as a boyfriend?” Chanyeol answers, driving slowly now against traffic. “I’ll work hard to get promoted to something higher.” - please, this is so cute.
