Oshitari, this will sound like an odd request, but I would very much like a moment of your time if you will be available over the next few days. Thank you.

After last week, the only thing odd will be an alien coming down to abduct us and turn us all into girls. But yes, I'll be avaliable.

...Yes, that would be sufficiently odd.

Perhaps you could tell me what crawled up Atobe's ass to die and what plans your team has of extracting it before we lose a perfectly good rival.

If not creepy. Takes on a whole new meaning of transgendered.

We're going to throw Atobe, Shishido and Taki off a bridge to die. I think we need serious help.

...Indeed.

Evidence of your genius to be certain. However, a second, less violent option ought be considered. I've never seen such discord in a tennis team. Particularly one so notoriously powerful as Hyoutei.

...Very, don't you think?

You haven't seen the half of it. It's playing out like some primetime soap opera. How do you guys at Seigaku deal with team problems anyway?

Yes, quite.

Hm. Typically, issues do not arise and can for the most part be resolved before escalating to any sort of cataclysmic scale. Oishi and I keep an open-door policy and I believe all of our teammates are comfortable approaching one if not both of us when an issue does arrive.

Also, they know if they are truly unruly, I will assign them no less than 100 laps.

I would think so too.

Mmmm. That might be a problem too. It's not to say that Atobe is not approachable, but I think the Hyoutei environment fosters an interest for self-independence heavily.

..I see. Does that usually work?

Hm. This explains the lack of a team dynamic. Independence is not lost at Seigaku - we have some very stubborn spirits, but I believe we all have a shared passion for tennis and for Seigaku and we all wish to strengthen our teammates and in so doing strengthen ourselves. Passion is a language Atobe does speak - this is a lesson I'd hoped he'd learned three years ago.

Always. It is something Yamato-buchou impressed upon me.

I hoped so too. It's odd though, the fraction within Hyoutei, we can't even pinpoint where it all began. I think Hyoutei takes perfection a little too seriously.

Should I be given thechance, I shall try that technique. It sounds interesting, to say the least.

Hm. Best of luck to you, regardless, Oshitari. I believe you have a good head on your shoulders - others will understand reason if you present it to them.
