I HAVE A BABY
And she is absolutely adorable. So calm and well behaved. Yes, she is a rodent and not a human. I got myself a baby rat today, I am so happy. None of the rats at the pet store have been handled a ton (though none are aggressive), so I think I've really lucked out with her personality. She let me hold her a ton today, considering it's the first day.
Also, I still can't wait for August. I am thinking I need to make a list of super important things to not forget. The hottest I've ever dealt with is LA in summer, but that was early not too hot summer. Suggestions welcome. 103F/40C average temp? Fuck me.
Another decision to make: do I get a tattoo before, during, or after this trip in August? I am feeling rich.
