(no subject)
First off, excuse any late comments from me y'all might have gotten. 'course I don't visit here much. It's not that I don't like hearing how friends are doing, or on the rare occasion, posting something that someone will actually pay attention to. It's just that... well hmm...
I FIND LJ BORING. There I said it.
I've also been learning a lot lately about personal economics. You really can't see all the things the pile up financially, until it hits you.
With a decent job, I was finally making money. Unfortunately, the social partygoer in me sprang out at about the same time. I've been spending too much money on the game '1st life', as it were. Add onto that my regular rent payments, lightrail fares... wow, no surprise I've only come up with $120 thus far. x x
But fortunately, one of the reasons I've found the courage to post this is that I'm ready to stop with excessive socializing (can hardly call it that... not as if I have any more friends than before). Buy what I need, plus maybe a treat or 2, and that's it.
I predict I'll end up incredibly bored every night and sleep 3 times as much as I do now... XD... but at least sleep helps the time to pass, right?
--In short, giving up a lil fun now so I can have a lot of fun later. Yes, lots and lots and lots of fun *winks to the only person who gets this*
