I don't think that I have ever been interrupted more during the reading of book like I have with this one. True, I did hear from friends and family that I haven't spoken with in weeks or months. But it was like someone didn't want me to finish. I gather that I was probably on the phone or answering text messages from random friends and family members for a little over 3 hours. And then was some time that we spent eating, visiting with family for my sister-in-laws birthday party, and I took a nap or two because my eyes couldn't just wouldn't stay open.
And thus ends another part of my childhood. It's funny, when I decided that my New Year's resolution was to finish things, I didn't know all that it would entail. Gilmore Girls, Stargate SG1, and now Harry Potter have all had their final installments. It's like someone is saying "Jen! It's really is time to grow-up now." But I'm not complaining. Married life is wonderful! So much better than I could even imagine.
And with that, I must go finish boxing up (or throwing away) my childhood as I finish packing up my old bedroom at my parents' home.
ETA: To all my LDS friends. Yesterday in church the closing song was Come, Come Ye Saints. While it was probably picked to celebrate the holiday tomorrow, husband and I giggled when we came to the last line. DH is probably my new favorite book.
