Gov Info Night
I forgot to mention how incredible it was to present for it, and how there was just a wonderful, vindicating rush of relief after having done well.
Practicing in class on the 12th had been god-awful. Everyone was so scared, but somehow, we all managed to pull through even when the coaches pulled all sorts of questions from goodness knows where.
I can't believe how lucky we were to be able to do it one last time and to be able to do it *right*
We're so incredibly lucky to have had that one last chance--everyone else had their last chance at state, and so even if we did do our best, it was a sudden break.
Info Night was simply amazing for me, and I was such a pussy. I started crying after talking about the bonding experience. Thank goodness I had gone back into the gov line already because crying in front of everyone would've been pathetic.
Anyhow. Hanging out afterwards at Denny's was funfunfun too. Pronoy got his shirt unbuttoned and majorly groped by Alex, who also happens to be marrying me. New last name: Co-Omidsalar. D: awkward much?
Also on another subject altogether--I feel better for having tried. I won't have any regrets this way. Things'll work themselves out.
