New Start: Let's Try This Again

So, it was my roommate's birthday today, and we made celebratory French toast. She likes it spicy with melted cheese. I just polished off a couple of servings. It's 1 AM. Yep.

Late-night eating is probably my biggest issue. I'm great for breakfast and lunch: I eat the right portions, limit the carbs, and eat slowly. But, once it's past 3 PM, it's like I can eat as much as I want. I'll eat a snack before dinner, dinner itself, then dessert, second dinner, second dessert, coffee with hot chocolate, something else, and then eating with the roommates. And, I'm never actually hungry for any of it. I'm just bored, and eating beats homework. It's disgusting.

I want to start over. I figure I can start over a billion times, as long as I'm starting over. I'm serious, this time. If I don't start now, I'll regret it in a few weeks and think "GOD, why didn't I start back in October?? I'd be so far by now." I've heard that keeping a journal of what I eat will help a lot, so I'll be doing that here, to the best of my ability.

Here's today:
Breakfast: 2 pieces of apple cake, Met chai tea
Lunch: chicken tenders with honey, a few fries with honey mustard and ketchup, salmon cado sushi box
Snack: apple, 2 more pieces of apple cake
Dinner: broccoli and tomato slices (1/2 plate), small slices of chicken, sausage and egg scramble, frozen yogurt with Kashi cereal and sprinkles
Snack: apple, apple cake, 2.5 slices of cheese French toast with maple syrup, coffee with hot chocolate, apple

That sounds about right. Wayyyyy too much in the way of snacking, and too much at lunch. I should seriously stop the eating at 7 PM. if I can do that, that would help control the late-night binging. I'll try to stay away from artificial sweeteners too. I've heard they're pretty bad for you.

Butts. So, there you go. My Master Plan. I still have SO MUCH work to do tonight, but I might shower, sleep, and wake up early.

I'll try to do measurements every Sunday as well, to keep myself on track.

Yeesh. That waist. My God. Hopefully, it was mostly due to food, but I'd still like that to be under 28".
