ok, so there's this song by The Left Banke called Pedestal in which Steve Martin (no not the actor, but spanish vocalist) sounds just like Jeff Buckley, it's creepy. He even looks like him. Anyway, in my opinion it's the best song by the Left Banke, even though by the time it was recorded the band had already broken up even though it's credited as being a release by all of the band, shame really. good song.
My roommate's cousin is in town, and aside from being really really annoying and decked from head to toe in Von Dutch (friends don't let friends wear Von Dutch), he is filthy stinking rich and found it perfectly normal to blow $578 on dinner for 4. YEEESH! Oh well, if somebody like him can make it by being an artist, I have hope for myself.
I went to this party this weekend where some guy gave me this electric beard trimmer that he stole and I managed to get a 3 iron golf club out of the house, but through all the alcohol, I realized that having a 3 iron was pretty stupid, so I leaned it to a tree and got a ride home in pimp ass white leather interior caddie blasting Sam Cooke all the way. I gave the beard trimmer to Kate for use on the dog.
