Bass update.
I got my bass back today. For the price of the refit and other work I had them do I could have bought a brand new American made P bass. But my 45 year old P bass is so much nicer than one of those would be. I never knew a bass could have such low action, this is amazing. Da3n? They did a great job. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. It feels, plays and sounds fantastic. He asked me if I knew what it was worth. I said yeah sort of, but why don't you tell me anyway. He said 4-6000. That's just about what I was thinking from looking around on line. I'm almost afraid to take it out of the house now. I'm thinking of buying a nice Mexican fender just to have one that plays nice and I don't have to worry about it.
In summery, I spent a lot of money to get this bass up to it's potential, but it was worth every penny!
