Here's the thing: I am not a fan of most sophomoric humored movies. I'm repelled by gross out humor and endless stupid sex jokes. There has to be something else that balances out the shtick. Examples: Stepbrothers, Scary Movie etc....
Movies like The Wedding Singer, The 40 Year Old Virgin, films by Mel Brooks, etc....I love. (I suppose you could make the argument that Mel Brook films are not that far off from Will Farrell or Adam Sandler movies, but I think he did that style of comedy better).
Judd Apatow, Seth Rogen et al, have won me over with their films. There's always this soft hearted element below the funny. That said, I think this movie looks really really good:
