Updatage!
5 weeks since my last update so what has been going on in my little world?
Have bought a fascinator to crown the outfit - on a headband not a slide so it should stay put.
New undies have also been purchased to (hopefully) ensure there is no skirt clinging nastiness.
Shoes and handbag to match outfit - bought on special offer as someone at work gave me a money off coupon.
Will do a full try on this week to see if it all works - need to choose jewellry. Have a necklace that will go nicely but feel the matching earrings are too small and flowery - a pair of dangleys might go better. Saw some nice pearly necklaces and earrings today but have a feeling they may be too pale with the cream top. Wonder if I can persuade mum to use my camera so you can see the trial? Sadly I feel that may not be a possibilty.
Strange to think this time next week it will all be over bar the shouting oops I mean evening do.
In other news having had to work a Sunday to stock-take and met the owner of the company I very very nearly packed the job in. Have decided to stay as I should only have to meet him once a year.
The 2009 nices for 2009 was abandoned a while ago as I had one disaster and bout of horribleness after another. There was a part of 5 or 6 weeks that I really really could not find anything nice about any day.
Plans for this week include - washing the car and remembering to get it serviced - what do you mean it should have been serviced before Christmas? Taking mum to collect her hat and shortened trousers, maybe buying jewellry, spring-cleaning the hall and stairs and mum's bedroom - neither of which should take too long. Having a rest (?) and some 'me' time and a full family dinner on Friday - the night before the wedding.
ION - I won a book in the CBB raffle. WHOO WHOO! One I have never ever read. I am so looking forward to reading it this week.
