It is Christmas!
Today involved:
Working until 2:30pm - felt odd - best bit was little boy wandering past singing Jingle Bells at the top of his voice
Getting a cardi for mum not a brown one but one that will go with brown
Coming home - having choc cake - pressie from friend
Cleaning bathroom (last bit of housework left from yesterday)
Worrying phone call from friend who has buzzed off to other end of the country for Christmas with her son and dil - she thought her dad was really poorly and could I go and look sometime - said I'd go after tea
Putting cards on ribbon on walls - wasting an hour looking for blu tack after doing 2 ribbons worth - it was nowhere to be found
Having a visitor
Deciding to go visit next door (incidentally finding blu tack in my shoe - luckily I didn;t shove foot in hard) he is ill but not last gaspy tyope of ill just a fluey cold and seasonal miseries have now lumbered us with cooking his dinner tomorrow
finsihing cards - including sticking some up more than once
Having a martini
tracking Santa on Norad
Waiting for mum to go to bed so I can finish her pressies and put stuff under tree
watching carols and now midnight service on telly - comments via msn
not sure what tomorrow will bring - hopefully less tiredness was up with mum in the night last night so hopefully she will be OK tonight.
