I want to sleep but I have a funny story:
I was walking home from kabuki theater with the guy I like and I pointed at the lion king broadway flyer (we had gone to see that together). I said, "hey! That's my ex boyfriend!" as a joke... and the guy said, "oh really? from when?"
Ok... here's where you kinda gotta know Japanese to appreciate the funniness of it, but I'm going to try to explain:
I said: 5 NIN mae... which means, "5 people before"
I should have said, 5 NEN mae, which means "5 years ago"
He just laughed and said, "Debra!!!!!!! You're so crazy!" Apparently, my craziness isn't questioned anymore.
By the way, kabuki is Japanese theatre. 4 hours long of old japanese dance and music and I thought I was gonna die from tiredness. Getting up in 5 hours for a long ride on the roooooooad. Wish me luck!
