(no subject)
Now that spring break is over, I'm getting really excited about summer time. I have a feeling this semester is gonna go by real quickly, which is good and bad, but mostly good. It's bad because although it'll go by quickly, it'll end very painfully. Anyways, Hilda and I have been talking about our summer plans together. It seems like everyone has something to do this summer. Clara's gonna go off to Europe, Chandra's going back as well, Misono and I are going to be working at the same internship together (yay!), and Hilda has a long list for hers. Before Clara and Chandra leaves, I was hoping that maybe we could all take a short trip somewhere, just us girls. Whether it be at the beach or NY or wherever. I can't wait!
Anyways, I guess I'll let you guys in on what's going on in my life so far. For those of you who don't know, I'm currently interning at the University Relations Publications, and everyone there is super nice. I'm still working for Collegiate Times and Geneva, but things over there have been ok at the moment so I'm not complaining. Also, apparently Lauren, who was in my advertising class last semester, submitted our group project into the Addy's, and it won a Silver Addy Award. Yay! I can finally have a little trophy-type thing to place on my desk... and then lose and forget about it a week later haha.
There're other things going on, but I'll let you guys in on it when I feel ready.
Oh yeah, I've been talking to Sam recently, seeing as how he's the only person awake at 5 in the morning and he's an awesome person to talk to too! It's good to know that there are more people who appreciate their parents and familly. It's a rare thing nowadays. I find it funny how I haven't seen him since Freshmen year, and then on Black Friday I bump into him at Microcenter, just glaring and squinting at him for a good minute or two because he looked familiar. Oops! Good to hear he's finally coming back though. =)
Oh, and guess who decided to visit Tech this weekend! David's on his spring break so he decided to come to Tech. Sorry I couldn't really hang out with you much. Just really bad timing I guess. I have 3 research papers to do, and 2 tests to take next week. Oh, and I bought your favorite drink... you know.. TAB. Muwahaha!
Yeah, despite the craziness, I'm doing all right. Yup yup.
Oh, and I also I wanna wish Vinci and Pei an (early) happy birthday!
