So write, write on

I wrote a poem yesterday. Okay, I doubt this qualifies as a poem, but I say it counts, considering how rarely I write a poem in the first place.

So write, write on,
toujours j'écris,
until this world abandons me.
And even then
if it could be
I'd want to pen the land ahead.

This poem was actually the end of the latest Dr. Nbook, which I finished in several writing frenzies over the past two days. You'll see a good bit of material from that in here over the next few days when I get more energy to type all of that in. Or maybe I won't--it's much more emoness than usual, and possibly more articulate, although I make no actual claim to the latter.

The new Dr. Nbook is called I'd Want to Pen the Land Ahead. I've updated The Dr. Nbook List. Apparently some of my titles sound like Death Cab for Cutie song titles. Some of them do, I must admit. Some of those titles would make great songs, though. I should write songs with those as titles.

Speaking of Dr. Nbooks! The Week Two pep talk for Script Frenzy appeared in my inbox on Tuesday, and this quote was at the beginning:

"Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore." ~André Gide

Big deal, right? Well, that happens to be the inspiration for the title of Dr. Nbook 55, and I never knew who said that. Now I want to know what the original French was. (And my Google-fu is giving me several diffferent versions with "On ne découvre pas". I'll look for it later.)

Also, I went from being behind on my script on Thursday to being significantly far ahead now--I'm at 54 pages now. Go me.

I have too much to write about and so little time (i.e. so much to do).
