Negative zero!
Yes, I've been a little busy. Just a wee bit. I still have hardly started working on REU applications, and I need need need to email Dr. Koch about what I've done so he can start writing my letters of recommendation. Emails (even the important ones!) have gone to the wayside, LJ has gone to the wayside, Dr. Nbook has gone to the wayside, friends have gone to the wayside, applying for summer programs and the math theme house and other assorted really important sundries have gone to the wayside...pretty much everything has just to get through the day and tackle all the math being thrown my way, all of it due at the same time.
I had my first physics lab and my first Global Connections class this week. There's a ten-page paper involved with the trip due by 30 June. I was not expecting that, especially since I'll be well into whatever mathy thing I'm doing this summer by then.
On a completely different topic, I just did an inventory of how much time I had during the week as an attempt to put off my dynamical systems assignment due tomorrow. It turns out that from the time I wake up in the morning until the time I go to bed at night (assuming I go to bed at midnight), I have a maximum of 39.5 hours to do math, shower (which takes about four hours--yeah, I know), eat (which I surprisingly scheduled in there), check email, read friends list, write, talk to friends (considering I rarely see them anymore, this is an accomplishment) and do all this crazy stuff I'm doing now. That sounds like a lot. I know. Now why am I still so pushed for time?
I know I feel a tiny bit overwhelmed every semester, and I enjoy it, but this time I just might have done myself in.
