Quite a relaxing weekend in the end. Had a bit of a clear around in the main room so I could get started with learning tai chi as a reasonable amount of space is needed. Difficult when there is a tredmill taking up a moderate amount of space already.
Learnt a lesson that you should always eat, even if it is a little something before going to an exercise class. At Kung Bo my energy level plummeted 20 mins in, much to my dismay. Instructor told us to the end of the lesson how much he had missed out and should have been able to fit in for a standard full-on session. Guess we aren't really up to speed yet *blush*
Watched Dukes of Hazard Saturday evening - what an absolutely naff movie - avoid! No banjo playing, hardly any amusing bit (timing was off, and they did not seem to play, 'just good ol'boys' with a mishmash of sub plots *ick*. The funniest parts were Willie Nelson (playing Uncle Jessie) cracking jokes, a good example being Q 'What do you call a farmer with a sheep under each arm?' A 'A playboy'.
Sunday's highlight was trying to take advantage of S being out of the house and start learning that tai chi - only find find out I couldn't get the TV to work. As the new dvd player (the other one died last week or so) had been set up the day before by S so thought it best to wait for him to take a look, in case I missing missing something obvious. No such luck. We need a new TV *sigh*. S is out tonight again for kendo, so will be placing laptop on top of the TV and use that to play the dvd. How sad is that?
