Wahhh ~streeeetch~
Feel like I've been on a holiday away from LJ ^_^
Nothing much has happened in meantime, apart from a few clubs, gigs, BBQs and that I have now been in my new (very busy) job for over a fortnight. I have been reading posts here and there, but have probably missed important ones as these LJ readings were days apart, but haven't really responded to any when I did - sorry :( Looks like will be reading posts at home (currently having 30 mins lunch breaks, and due to a stuffy office, need to get out - and watching squirrels bound around the Arborteum is relaxing :) ).
To buck myself up, have slapped on new LJ icons, and am raring to go :)
To try to turn over new leaves, have cleared the tredmill ready for use * - and planning to go for 30 mins a day when I get back from work, and will start to convert some of my tshirts (most of which have been bought for this purpose) into dresses - one of which is already on the tailors dummy ~cracks knuckles~ The tredmill is important as I need to have more stamina as I am so unfit and as we'll be having a few walks around the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales soon, as would *love* to go up Helvellyn via Striding Edge again. The view is *stunning* but the initial near-vertical walk is a killer, then there's another 11 miles or so scramble and walk for the complete round trip. Have a nasty feeling that it will be too hot this time though. Ah well :(
Oh, and isn't eBay fab? Currently wearing Prada (mary-janes) and Vivienne Westwood (smart work skirt) to work - whole outfit under 35 quid :D
Best pootle off now to eat my lunch and squirrel-watch ^_^
* cos I am unfit/no stamina and will need to be just a tad better in a couple of weeks time (and if I feel abit better might start going to the Kung Po classes); finally got the Leipzig piccies and I look really naff ~shudder~; as I bought the humungous thing, better get some use out of it!
