shooo....
MAN it's been a while since I posted. So much for my resolution to keep this thing regularly updated, LOL. (While I'm talking of resolutions... gotta remember this: A girl - or a boy - discovers an injured fairy creature and takes it in, hiding it...and it turns out that there's SOMEONE after it for some reason, so the kid gets embroiled in the middle. Need to decide what sort of creatures and what sort of tone I want for it... )
So I'm not doing a play this semester, which is the first since...oh, I suppose freshman year. It makes me rather sad, but I look at my schedule now and I know I'd have NO time for it. I'm going crazy already without rehearsals to deal with too.
Another thing that makes me sad is that mercystreet_rp has closed. I suppose it couldn't have been avoided (perhaps it could maybe switch ownership, but i can't think of anyone who could take it over...at least not off the top of my head), but it still rather gets me down. Fortunately, most of the people I'm currently playing with still want to finish our logs. And since I am fasting from role-play for Lent, this is all I'm saying on the subject. :) Though I feel I need to fast from something more...so I think for the last week or so, I'll also fast from all fun interwebbing. That will certainly be something.
In other happier news, my church is putting on a sort of skit night, where each bible study group puts together some sort of skit (can be secular or Christian or a mix of both) and performs it. I'm not actually IN any of the skits - but I AM MCing! It's gonna be a really awesome night, so everyone should come if they can. :3 It is March 1 at 7 - I don't know a location yet, but go ahead and make plans! ♥ I'll hopefully be sending out a facebook event soon~
Along with that, I am busy preparing for a missions trip to Uganda! I'm pretty excited~ Unfortunately, this Saturday (when we usually have training) I have a class at the Zoo, where I will be learning a lot about animal training and how the zoo works and so on. So it's not really unfortunate that I have the class (I am SO excited about the class!) just that it will conflict with training.
ALSO, completely unrelated, I SO did not realize that there have been new Supernatural episodes every Thursday since that one aired back at the end of January (I think that's when it was). Now I am I think...two episodes behind, soon to be three after tonight, and I have no time to watch them. So sad. I need my SPN fix.
AND NOW to go get my emissions testing done. I promise to catch up on my flist soon, loves~ ♥
