Got interviewed today, my first, perhaps also my last.
My boss, who usually is very nice, had the brilliant idea of telling the world that the archives I've been cataloging are catalogued properly now. Telling the world consisted of ringing round to the two local newspapers and the local radio (and this is very locally newspapers, New Job-Place is a very small place indeedy!) and setting up a press-conference for today. The newspapers showed up and asked me questions about archives in general and the Engström and Åberg archives in particular, took photos of me and my finger pointing out nice archival things from the century formerly known as the last. Got adrenaline rush when it was over.
This weekend my parents and H. are coming down to visit me, which is good since travelling across the country every fifth day is fairly exhausting. It's actually more tiring than saying here and yearn for Sthlm and my life there. I probably won't be coming up so much before I move back up in... OMG just five weeks!:-)
But now I'm going to bed since I have a sore throat and achey ears and I want to get up early tomorrow and see if Morrissey thinks America's got something to say then.
