My cat won't stop starring at meee
Ventured out to Katsucon up in Virginia the other weekend. David was kind enough to let me stay with him and I had such a great time! The convention hotel was pretty strange how it was laid out on 5 floors, getting up and down was so time consuming! It was weird looking from the top down at all the criss-crossing escalators. Anyhow - I arrived Friday afternoon and stood in the cold, long registration line for two hours, even though I preregistered, what?! Oh well.
I really didn't take many pictures, so this will mostly be a boring text entry.
Friday night Aural Vampire played, but I had forgotten my camera in my car T-T sadness ensued. They signed afterward and I bought some stickers. Also made a new friend, Briaaan XD
Eventually we headed to McDonalds at 2am O.O and made it back for sleepy time/last minute sewing around 3am. I was tired, I drove five hours! I wanted to sleeeep ;3;
Saturday morning was the fashion show. It went well, although it was hard to organize all the models outside of the panel room because everyone in the hall was bothering us about everything imaginable. After the panel I ran to the dealers room in hopes of purchasing a K.K. Slider only to find they had been sold ouuuuut ;A; I never got the chance to get in there Friday before it closed up. Later that evening I had ridiculously spicy thai food that I suffered and ate all of because I love Thai and I had to eat something, right? Then the night carried on and on into the lounge area with many drinks and friends.
Sunday was the leaving day, not much to talk about. I said my goodbyes to all the lovely people I met and headed back out for my 5 hour drive home T-T
These guys made me happy! I love Card Captor Sakura <3
If you own an Xbox360 then you know these guys, yay! Castle Crashers! Actually made friends with two of them.
