She hadn’t moved a muscle, just kept standing there looking cool in the shade, staring at him like he was an interesting bug she’d found crawling up the stairs.

looking at him like he was a species she’d never seen, but found interesting.

Te-he! So true. Zoe has that way of looking at someone like they aren't really there, ya know?
This is real shiny Teri! I like it alot. Love the potential as well....

Thanks for sayin'. I love the potential, too. I don't want to replace Wash, but I can't see Zoe fading away as an old maid.

I can say this from the single perspective (divorced 6 years ago) we find a way to grow love and rich relationships outside of romantic encounters or marriage, but it is a daily struggle to find meaning...

Holy moly, that's beautiful. I might have to steal that for Ethan and Zoe. Can I steal that???

Well, now... isn't that somethin'??

At first, I was absolutely against the idea of the potential of Zoe meeting and liking any new guy, but as the story went along, you managed to turn me around! How do you do that? *G*

Excellent second part too, very interesting new character, I like hiM! And if Zoe decides she does too, conjure that's okay *G*

Sushi!Fic just makes me the fluffiest fluff loving... something or other!! *G*

Wonderful addition!

Think we could make up bumper stickers that say: "I heart Ethan Morrell"

*wink*

I'll have them made when you finish your part of the story.

I'm glad you liked Ethan. He's turning out to be a fun character to write.

The interaction was hard, thankfully it seemed to work.

Thank you for your kind words!

Um, better late than never? You did a great job introducing us to Ethan as a real, well-rounded, flesh and blood character who down to earth, funny, and damn interesting. This all flowed very naturally - nice work, ma'am!
