I don't know why I find salads so aversive; I just made myself one and ate it, and it was delicious.
For future reference: baby spinach, flax seeds, sliced palm hearts, fresh raspberries, grated gruyere cheese, and a little bit of balsamic raspberry vinaigrette.
There is plenty else to talk about, but the weight of it all has made me unable to even begin, so here is something small:
Yesterday I had my interview for Recreation Programme Coordinator at the club I coach(ed) synchro at. I'm unclear as to whether I was being interviewed for the job or we were talking about plans for the coming year. And I forgot to ask about rates of pay, which I'm afraid makes me look a little wishy-washy. Otherwise, I think the interview went well, as I asked to clarify the board's goals regarding the programme, put forth my own goals broadly couched as two practical approaches (which I think they liked), and was prepared for essentially everything they asked me. Of course, it was an interview, so there was the occasional stumble, but I imagine it went alright. I guess I'll hear in a couple of days. I'm pretty well as okay with the idea of getting the job as I am with the idea of not getting the job, which is really minimizing the pressure.
Hopefully over the next while I'll remember to write about Desi drama, neighbour drama, our trip to Stratford, and the upcoming camping trip, as well as anything else I've forgotten.
How are you?
PS, why haven't I installed the AC unit in my apartment? It is sweltering. Poor Desi just lays on the floor with his belly exposed ALL THE TIME.
