1. How about a brief introduction of yourself?
Hello! I'm a student studying science/hopefully medicine, draw for a hobby, graphic design for a job, read for fun, and write when I have stuff going on in my mind. I've lived in various countries, learned chinese, japanese, french, and english, but only can use english to a passable degree... My typo skillz r terribad and my handwriting has devolved since college. Okay that's enough about me moving on-
2. Fabulous! And what got you into fanfiction to begin with?
Reading: Tenchi Muyo.... This is like, when I was 12? LOL. First real fandom I got into. (Pokemon and sailor moon doesnt count.) Then I was REALLY into Inu yasha when I was 14. All hetero pairings till.. Phoenix wright at 19? BIG GAY LAWYERS oh god I'm old too
Writing: Durarara. Never wrote a piece of work before this, and probably won't write another work after. I just can't get Izaya out of my head. To be perfectly honest, I couldn't stand the first 5 episodes of durarara and stopped watching. I had to give the manga another try before I fell in love with the batshit version of manya. Then I watched drrr just for izaya. Maybe some shizuo too but mostly izaya. (izayaizayaizayaiza-)
3. I see, so what kind of fanfiction do you like to write?
Crack/Humor or Angst. That doesn't make sense at all but that's okay. It's like I'm bi-polar let's hope I'm not.
4. Do you tend to write the same pairings/characters? Or are you a fandom whore?
HUGE. SAME. PAIRING. WHORE. I'm Jesus about monogamy. Except when I'm the one writing, then I'm a fandom whore...except it'll still end up being that same pairing.
5. What is your most popular fanfic and why do you think people like it so?
With all good intentions. I really don't know... Guess the prompt is good? I try to put some of my fail humor in there but I guess people like it \o/. Also I stopped for like 3 months because holy shit classes. But SOMEONE WHO COEHERED ME INTO WRITING MORE coughcough same person making me write this meme. cough cough. why do you do this to me. Idek ilu <3.
6. Forget other people, what is the fanfiction you're most proud of?
I don't know, after I leave my fics for awhile, they all just seem like crap to me. I like the angsty one I was writing, but I'm too happy to continue it anymore. It's not even that angsty, just twisted and dark maybe... Mcat really dragged my mood to hell during the summer ):.
7. Do you find writing easy? Hard? What are the most difficult aspects of writing you struggle with?
WRITING EVERYTHING IS HARD. ESPECIALLY PERSUASIVE ESSAYS. Or persuasive characters. I'm bad at writing fillers and connective scenes. And I'm 100% prude so I can't write xxx action tiem which seems to be what the 99% of meme wants me to write. /cry. I think the main reason I stopped the other fic was because I just... can't follow that up anymore... And it still kinda bothers me );. God when will I stop being a prude. srsly
I also never get to learn new useful words anymore so my vocabulary is kinda lacking. But I mean, I still get to learn new words like.. elution, fractionation, convection oven, microspectrophotometry, and other useless words my word processor gives me angry squiggly red lines for.
8. Write a few sentences about your favorite pairing or character.
Shit I can write an essay about this crap. Pairing? Shizuo x Izaya Hands down. Character? IZAYA. He's just a free spirit~ I guess I'm a bit of a troll at heart too. I always try to see the best side and humor of things that happen, good or bad. He's not an antagonist for the sake of being an EVIL OVERLORD but rather due to his selfishness and questionable morals. He's an imperfect character like every other and his motives are so humanly. Plus he's just a fun character to poke fun of, sometimes I forget he's not the main character of the show ):. He would make an awesome anti-protagonist if he had his own.
As for shizuo x izaya. Well, I don't really see it working out. It's more like, obsession and lust over love. Then again, I'm not a romantic to begin with so that doesn't bother me at all. They're just so revolved with each other, I can't imagine them separated.
9. Are there any fanfiction cliches/trends that you can't stand or you're just sick of?
Ehhh. I'm an out liner but I really don't like "high school tiem" fics. Too.. cliche and pretentious LOL. And not something I can relate to since my high school years were completely wasted on PLAYING RO 24/7. + minimal studying... Also I guess I'm just out of the age group, sadface. Also not fond of excessive crying characters. Also Izaya's a manipulative bastard, I like to see him being him, not a hormonal lovesick girl.
10. Are you guilty of any of the fanfiction cliche/trends? Or any other ones?
Probably, but I don't write very much. I always end up writing AU's or something. So I guess my cliche is AU

12. Name your OTPs or most frequently written pairings/characters and explain what it is about them you love to write.
Shizuo x Izaya. I CAN'T EXPLAIN WHY they just COME TO EACH OTHER AHHHHH. Stuck to each other like fucking glue and I can't peel them off. I would write more about them if I could but ugh. Ugh. They way the view each other is just full of contradictions. I love the psyche of it all.
I used to like Joshua x Neku from TWEWY. Come to think of it.. its kinda like izaya x shizuo? I dunno why I liked Joshua as the seme even though he's so girly. Weird ):. Then there's PxE for phoenix wright. Nothing not to love about big manry lawyers. I also ship almost every canon pairing under the sun, aka mostly hetero. But nothing about that excites me enough to write/read about. Inuyasha x Kagome was the exception but, I can't remember much of my 14 year ol' self anymore.
13. What would you call your "writing style"?
Um. I dunno... Don't write enough to know. I guess it's a lot of descriptions but nothing concrete. I don't like to give the character's thoughts, but their actions. And hopefully through their actions, my reader and guess how they are feeling. Oh, and my writing style is slow. Yes, slow is now a style. Like slow cooking. Or slow songs. SLOW WRITING YEA ONE CHAPTER A MONTH.
14. Do you read other people's fanfic?
FUCK YEA. Mostly shizuo x Izaya though. I usually can tell a writer's style, and then stalk them like woah. I used to read a shitton for other fandoms though. When I read things, it plays out like a movie in my mind, so some of them really stuck to my mind. Same with books though.
15. Name ONE thing you'd love to write but have been too afraid or shy to do so.
DEATH FICS UGH. I'm not fond of reading them but I want to write one... But that's not a popular genre so I rather just keep it in my head. When I get a chance, I want to write a psychological thriller, full of mental problems and people slowly going insane! So fun~ Also I would like to get over my prude.
16. Do you have trouble taking criticism? Or worse yet, do you have the bloated ego?
I like to think that I'm the hardest crit on myself so nothing else can really shake me. Other than that, I don't think I've gotten one yet, strangely enough. I'm cool with people telling me what's funky on my drawings though.
17. When you write, is there anything that helps? Music? Quiet room?
Music music music. I have a mood in mind and I need to listen to something that gives me that mood, but only for serious fics. I don't need anything for humor. But I tend to write faster in the morning, or when I have other more urgent important things to do. Procrastination helps.
18. What inspires you?
Other people's amazing writings. Books, profound phrases, funny things. Songs that evoke a particular mood. Not too much inspires me to write or draw anymore because I'M SO DAMN BUSY. And when I'm not busy I'M SO DAMN CONFUSED. WHY AM I NOT BUSY.
19. Lastly, how would you sum up your fanfiction experiences and yourself as a writer?
Will it help me later in life? No. Was it spiritually enlightening? Sure why not. Did I have fun? Hell yea. Also I get a blast from knowing that people read my stuff... and like it. Woo hoo \o/
