Update!
Okay. It is SERIOUSLY time to do an update on this blog. So far, I have been using it mainly for publishing a random poem and the likes. But things in life can change, and sometimes they even change into a direction that had been intended.
Which means in my case, I have now officially managed to join the ranks of the people who get money for their writing on a kind-of-regular basis. Which means I was able to change my full-time-job-that-pays-for-the-rent into a part-time-so-I-can-take-care-of-my-writing one.
The magic word here being REGULAR BASIS, because it is one thing to write something that gets you a bit of money every now and then, but depending on such earnings to at least pay for part of your living is quite a different ballgame (*GULP*).
And no, this will not turn susaslounge into an I-am-the-greatest-and-wealthiest-author-next-to-JKR-laughing-all-the-way-to-my-bankers kind of thing. Heck, not that I am not wishing it would!
It will be more like I-come-here-for-procrastinating-without-it-being-quite-procrastinating-because-it-means-networking.
Well. Sort of.
(Oh, if you are just pondering my grammatical errors and wonder how anyone could get PAID for that... rest easy, the people who pay for my writing normally do this for the part that is in GERMAN, and I hope I master that one enough to warrant it, LOL.)
Anyway, I am going to slowly develop this journal into (one of my) main blogs I guess.
I will be keeping my nunewesen one for the occasional fanfiction and (even more occasional) JB related posts, and will put a bit more effort into holmesblog as well, especially as I have slowly started specializing in Sherlock Holmes related writing when it comes to certain freelance work and - - -
(...a small pause for dramatic effect...)
And, now, to whom it may concern:
So you've just checked out my other accounts and went all WTF-she-writes-erotic-fanfiction-and-even-gay-related-OMG-can-she-be-somehow-respectable-at-all?!?!?!?!? AND she-claims-to-be-Holmesian-specialist-and-yet-writes-H/W-how-is-that-possible-no-one-can-take-her-seriously!!!!!!!!
TRUST ME, it is possible!
Especially as I am trying to be multi-dimensional. Ummm... sounds better than two-faced, I daresay, LOL! ;)
