house buying in london
Sooo my little sis is working in the big smoke, her and her boyfriend are both getting paid way too much to carry on living in the tiny bedsit they currently rent so they're looking for a house. This weekend we've both been at my parents and she asked me to help her go through some property websites to draw up a short list, but the problem is, as far as I can tell, they don't really know where they want to buy.
They are looking for a nice two bedroom (at least) place (house not flat)with a garden within easy commuting distance of Victoria for Phil and Canary Wharf for Neil, Phil would rather not have to change and would prefer a shortish journey because she often has to work late.
They have ruled out a lot of places because it's not a 'nice area' but they don't seem to know where the 'nice areas' actually are...which is making the search a hell of a lot more drawn out and complicated.
So, any ideas, those of you that know London, where might be a goodplace for them to start their search? Any help appreciated.
