Liveblogging the Teaching and Learning Conference
I am attending Temple's annual Teaching Seminar for faculty. It's kind of boring, but not as boring as usual. There are a few interesting things that I thought you might want to know...
1. Mayor Street is here. Attending as a faculty member. He is wearing an Eagles jersey - #20 Dawkins.
2. There are way more senior faculty than junior faculty. I don't get this. Junior faculty have less experience and knowledge and could get more out of this experience. Plus, it's a tenure bean for those of us on the tenure track.
Unlike past seminars we are having brunch today instead of breakfast and lunch. Eggs, French toast, bacon. I'm assuming that this is the economic downturn buffet.
