I hate gas
I stopped at the first gas station and inserted my card incorrectly. I corrected. It was rejected. I tried again. I got "see cashier". I replied with "see ya". And went across the street. This one had a different card insertion scheme and that one also failed. Resulting in another "see cashier".
I went to the grocery store. I'm not going into your stupid place to see a stupid cashier.
Got everything on my list and then remembered Costco. They got no fucking' cashier. They have helpful guys who come to you if there's a problem. It wasn't even that much out of the way. Their system is just tapping the card. Tapped once and we were done.
Plus, their gas is $3.79 a gallon. Station Number 1 above was $4.39 and Station Number 2 was $4.49. I had no idea Costco was that much cheaper.
I hate getting gas so much. At least now I'm good for a while.
And, turns out my phone does not like cold weather. The fingerprint reader was problematic and even the power button got stuck. I wonder if that wasn't part of the problem with the gas pumps. It warms up tomorrow.
