Did I figure it out?
For the past few mornings, Biggie has spent a whole lotta time on the counter sitting next to his food bowl. When I stand or or go near the kitchen, he gets really excited. He still has breakfast left. For a couple of days, I tried a different, but favorite food on top of his left over breakfast. Not it.
Today, I gave him another serving of breakfast and a few Stella and Chewy bullets. Bingo. He ate some and left some but also quit sitting on the counter staring at me.
I think his favorite food is maybe no longer favorite but the Stella and Chewy is clearly a hit. The Stella and Chewy stuff is freeze dried and really large pellets (about the size of maybe a 9 volt battery). They look like they would be too big for him to eat but he says no. They weigh next to nothing so Easy peasy to order/ship/store/dish out. Perfect for me and so far he's a fan, too. I've ordered up more - chicken flavored this time.
Today will be a Goodwill day. I don't have anything particular on my shopping list - just steps. And I have some donations to drop off. Two birds...
Yesterday I watched another episode of Guilded Cage (HBO). I'm not a particular fan of costume/historical drama but damn this one is good. And I watched Someone Somewhere - both of these are still dropping episodes weekly. I need to get back to Goliath which has all the shows ready already.
Edit later after my shower: Yep, that's (more of his breakfast food and more dried nuggets) apparently what he wanted. He's been back a couple of times to much but not to sit and stare. Now he's off the counter and settled into his morning bird watch. Sure wish he didn't make me guess.
