I got a phone call yesterday that I sent to voice mail. Turns out it was a robot call to remind me that I have a call today with Humana Pharmacy. OMG. It's part of the free inhaler situation. The pharmacist will call me and go through her script to make sure I'm using the thing correctly. It was relatively painless last time. Here's hoping for the same. In 30 mins.
Biggie is getting bitier and bitier. Today he went for my shin while I was on the toilet! I love him and I miss snuggly him but geesh. He hasn't slept with me for the past couple of nights (the cams show he spent most of last night in the hallway outside the bedroom where he could keep an eye on me). This morning, after the toilet attack, he climbed up onto my lap and took some head scratches and then left. He's not hard to live with and he's sure not hard to love but man, I wish he'd get a new habit and drop the biting so I wouldn't have to be so skiddish around him.
He's really such an outstanding cat. And if he's always like this, then we'll be ok. At least in winter I can wear long sleeves. And the bathroom is the only room in the house with a door. I can learn to use it.
I did order him a window hammock. It will be here tomorrow. I know he's going to love it. I've resisted because I didn't want to give up the window real estate but what the heck.
Many things on the agenda today. I'm out of cookies again. I still have pockets to make. The trash needs to go down to the dumpsters.
Humana just called. 15 mins of useless q's and a's. No biggie. I have one more call in April. For this, I get about 6 months* of free inhalers and a $100 Walmart gift card. Not a bad deal at all. (*Depends on how much money I spend on other drugs and how often I use this one inhaler.)
Ok, time now to get on with my day.
Reading: Dark So Deadly by Stuart MacBride - but, if the plot doesn't get moving on this, it's going to be a reject.
Watched: The Fall (also discovered that all three seasons are on BritBox), FBI Most Wanted (I was hoping to see new guy, but not yet)
