Maintainer Post

Based on feedback on my last post I have added tags for the weekly drabble challenges and I discovered that I hadn't enabled member tagging so I fixed that as well. Tag creation is still moderator-only but please feel free to tag your own work.

I also received a very good question about tagging:
Is there some sort of guide almost to posting tags? What post qualifies enough to be tagged about a subject, etc?

My modified answer here for your convenience:
If you're just posting to talk I've used the tag "other: discussion" or if your asking a question I've used "other: question". For beta, fic co-author, graphic maker, etc. requests I've used "other: request". If you're not sure, don't tag your own post and I'll try to get to it (because I've already tagged all past entries). If you think you've got a good idea of what to tag, feel free to enter your own tags!

Please continue to ask questions and give feedback on the style of tags! I am not finished with Edit 1: I am now finished with Round 2 (tagging fiction and graphic posts) and I have tentative plans for a Round 3 (tagging specialized mod posts). I'm not sure yet how we'll make the tags most accessible to the comm, whether it'll be through a sidebar or a top link; please check back to find out what the mods decide.

Thanks for your patience!
Muse
